Green Beans & Ground Pork Stirfry
Ingredients
- 1 lb stringbeans, stems removed
- 2T + 1T cooking oil
- 1" fresh ginger root, peeled & chopped
- 1t garlic, chopped
- 10-16oz ground pork
- 1T soy sauce
- 2T oyster sauce
- 1t sugar
- 1T corn starch or flour
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 1/2C chicken broth or water
Procedure
Stir-fry green beans in 2T oil for 3-5 minutes; remove and set aside. Sauté ginger in 1T oil for about 1 minute; add garlic and sauté one minute longer. Add ground pork, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and corn starch, and stir-fry until pork is cooked thoroughly, about 5 minutes. Season to taste with black pepper. Add chicken broth and cooked string beans, and thicken sauce by stir-frying for 3-5 mintues longer.
Serve over rice and enjoy!
