* 1/2 medium onion, chopped coarse * 2c chopped ham * 2c prepared rice, cooled * 2 eggs * garlic powder, paprika, salt to taste * soy sauce Over medium heat: # Fry chopped ham until lightly crisped. Remove from pan. # Fry chopped onion in 1tbsp butter or oil until golden # Add rice, stir well; continue frying, stirring occasionally, until rice is evenly toasted # Crack eggs into pan one at a time, stirring well after each to evenly coat the rice # Stir occasionally while frying, until egg is fully cooked. # Season to taste with garlic powder, paprika, and salt; stir well # Liberally soak the rice with soy sauce, but do not drown. Stir well once you hear the soy sauce sizzling on the hot pan under the rice. # Turn off heat, stir, serve, and enjoy Serves two very hungry individuals.
